The Syncher allow SMODE to re-sync the video input feed that are not gen-locked and or with a bad phase. In most of the case, it does all of the sync automatically.
when the sync is active you will see the sync arrow alongside the Frame rate of the device.

the auto syncher automatically determine the offset to apply to each frame to be perfectly synchronized in time. You can visualize that everything works well by looking at the Sync Ratio parameter.

Parameters

  • Manual Settings (On/off option) : Automatic or manual settings
  • Syncher (Syncher) : Can be Frame Accurate or Un-synchronized
  • Producer Stats (Event Statistics) : Stats of the producers of video signal
  • Consumer Stats (Event Statistics) : Stats of the consumer (your SMODE server) of the video signal
  • Sync Ratio (Rational (Optional)) : It need to be a ration of 1/1,1/2 or 2/1, this means that your video input is frame accurate. If it some other ratio SMODE can't re-sync them, the devices is considered Un-synchronized
  • Events Ahead (Positive floating point number) :
  • Drop Counter (Event Counter) : Frame drop counter
